About this Course

D&D for Complete Beginners is a welcoming, hands-on introduction to Dungeons & Dragons designed for individuals who are interested in learning to play but may not have an existing group or may feel intimidated joining an established table. Participants will learn the basics of D&D through guided play. The class will introduce the core ideas of roleplaying, character abilities, dice rolls, exploration, social interaction, and combat while participants play through a short beginner-friendly adventure. No previous Dungeons & Dragons or tabletop roleplaying experience is required. Characters, dice, and reference materials will be provided so participants can simply show up and learn how to play.
